Thursday morning before everyone arrived we started off our day at Nookside with the Pony Ride Experience that the Stables have to offer young riders. CBS21 was there to capture the wonderful atmosphere that you find at Nookside and the girls were able to be a part of that! They absolutely loved riding in the wagon, brushing the ponies and then saddling up one to ride in the arena. Ava's 'horse lovin' heart' was so full that day I thought she may actually pop from the excitement.
We then spent the rest of the weekend catching up with family we hadn't seen since last year, eating lots of good food and relaxing while the kids tired themselves out in the pool for hours! There was also a lot of baby snuggling going on since a total of six babies had been born since the last reunion, let's just say the next two years will be very interesting as they reach the ages of 1 and 2. It was exactly the kind of weekend that my soul needed. Now, we head into another extremely busy week as we prepare for our annual family camping trip. The first time camping with three kiddos, wish us me luck! ;)
