A year ago we moved our oldest two girls into a room together, we bought them bunk beds and crossed our fingers that they would adjust well to the change. Up until that time they had their own rooms and space, they were great sleepers and we worried we were tempting fate. But- there was a new baby on the way and she was getting the nursery. Everything went smoothly and now they love sharing a room (Charlotte will cry if ava is away for the night and not home). And after a year the room still looked like 'Ava's room'-- I had decorated for her when she was a toddler, all of her favorite things had a place, it's the wall color she had helped pick out, and there were just photos of her hanging on the wall.
So, over the past few weeks I've been on a mission to create more of a shared space, equal to the both of them. I finally finished their wall collage that I started months ago and we love our new interchangeable wall art from Flipside Prints!
